SRINAGAR: Indian forces in their fresh act of state terrorism have arrested six Kashmiri youth in an operation in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir media service, the six youth were arrested in the Beerwah area of Badgam district and two others in Baramulla town during cordons and search operations. On the other hand, the forces continued their search operations in areas including Srinagar, Badgam, Baramulla, Sopore, Kupwara, Handwara, Hajin, Shopian, Islamabad, Pulwama, Pampore, Tral, Kulgam, Kishtwar, Rajouri, Pooch, and other areas of the occupied territory.
On Sunday, Indian forces martyred three more Kashmiri youth in an operation in Srinagar. They were killed by the troops during a cordon and search operation in the Panthachowk area.
The number of youth killed by the troops during cordon and search operations in Srinagar, Pulwama, and Shopian rose to 10 since last week.
In August, at least 40 people were wounded after Indian forces fired shotgun pellets and tear gas shells at a Muharram procession in occupied Kashmir.
