ISLAMABAD: Illegal occupation continues in the federal capital. Land mafia, with the help of a concerned government official, allegedly occupied the land of a poor laborer.
According to details, the district police have registered a case in this regard, on the complaint of the poor laborer, Muhammad Rafiq. The victim has informed that the land mafia had threatened to kill him.
Mohammad Rafiq informed the police that the occupied land is already disputed on which the case is underway in a local court. He further said that the court has issued a stay order and restricted to construct buildings on the said land.
The victim has alleged that Raja Ali Akbar, Abdul Rehman, Usman Akram, and Imran Aslam have occupied his land. He also said that the land mafia has placed armed guards at the land.
According to the victim, the land mafia had also started construction of the disputed land, despite the court orders. He said that a concerned government official is also involved in the illegal occupation. “The concerned government official had prepared bogus documents of the land for the land mafia,” he added.
The victim, Muhammad Rafiq, has appealed to the concerned authorities and police to take action against the land mafia and the government official.
