ISLAMABAD: Land mafia in Islamabad was trying to occupy the house of the slain officer of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). The family members have staged a protest in this regard.
According to details, slain FIA officer’s nephew has joined hands with the land mafia in order to occupy his property in Talhar area of Islamabad. The land mafia, with the support of nephew, is constantly threatening the FIA’s officer wife.
The woman has informed that she had lodged a complaint with the police and other law enforcement agencies. However, no action has been taken yet due to the influence of the land mafia.
The woman informed that her husband was an Upper Division clerk in the FIA. She further said that after the death of her husband last year, her nephew started harassing them and claimed that this house and the land adjacent to it belong to him.
She has appeal to the government, FIA, and other law enforcement agencies to take notice in this regard and take action against the land mafia.
Earlier today (Thursday), it had been revealed that Afghan land mafia was illegal occupying lands of deprived people in Islamabad with the alleged support of the district police.
According to details, the land mafia had occupied the inherited lands in Islamabad’s Constituency 45 with the alleged support of influential personalities.
