RAWALPINDI: A case has been lodged against a man in Rawalpindi involved in raping, filming the ordeal, and blackmailing a 15-year-old girl, police informed.
According to details, a man, named Kamran, had allegedly raped the 15-year-old girl several times on gunpoint and blackmailed her with the video clip. The incident took place in Tehsil Kallar Syedan of Rawalpindi in 2017.
The accused had raped the girl, named Anusha Kanwal, with the help of his sister. According to the victim’s father, both the girls were classmates. The victim’s father claimed that Aqsa took his daughter to her house on March 31, 2017, where her brother Kamran and cousin Tauqeer were already present.
He further said, “Kamran and Tauqeer forcibly took my daughter to their workshop. After which, Kamran on gunpoint raped her and filmed the ordeal.”
The victim’s father claimed that the accused threatened his daughter for posting the video on social media and to kill her. In this regard, the accused raped her for almost three and a half years. He said, “The accused forced my daughter and filed a false complaint against me over blackmailing.”
On February 16, Anusha Kanwal informed the accused father about the happenings. “The accused father left my daughter at my house and told me that your daughter Anusha Kanwal was blackmailed and sexually abused,” he added.
The district police had registered the case against the accused under section 376 of the Penal Code on the complaint of the victim’s father.
