SHIKARPUR: A teenage girl committed suicide at her house located within the jurisdiction of New Faujdari police station in the city in the wee hours of Sunday.
According to sources, a 19-year-old girl, Nimra, committed suicides by taking poison in her home in Alipur Muhalla of city Shikarpur.
Receiving information about the incident, local police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Civil Hospital Shikarpur for a postmortem report.
Police said the body would hand over to their deceased’s relatives after completion of necessary medico-legal formalities from RBUT Civil Hospital Shikarpur.
Police suspect and said the cause behind the suicide could be family matters. They said the actual facts would come out after the postmortem report.
