SARGODHA: A teenage boy was killed after stray dogs attacked him in the Phularwan area on the outskirts of Sargodha city.
According to sources, 13-year-old Saim Ali was on way to school when the dogs mauled him. Later a passerby found his body which was unrecognizable.
On the other hand, the uncle of the deceased confirmed that the boy was killed in mad dogs’ attacks as he was on the way to school.
He appealed to authorities to take steps for controlling the mad dog population in the area.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Sargodha took notice of the incident and sought a detailed inquiry report from concerned authorities within 24 hours. The Assistant Commissioner has ordered the officials to kill the stray dogs.
Meanwhile, in another dog bite incident, a 6-year-old Shazaib was seriously injured by the stray dogs in Rangpur area.
