WUHAN: The Chinese embassy has claimed that the Pakistani students stranded in China were safe from the coronavirus disease.
The Chinese government had claimed that the students were being taken off in Wuhan.
The embassy stated that the disease was being prevented, the outbreak was controllable and the disease was curable.
The embassy posted that the Chinese government understood the shifting difficulties of Pakistani students in Wuhan.
According to the World Health Organization, the safest approach is to stay where you are, as any movement of people will lead to the risk of cross-infection.
A petition was earlier filed by some Pakistani students living in China in which they pleaded through email that the government was not supporting them in the on-going situation.
The petition also pleaded the court to direct the government to help the Pakistanis residing there and help them.
