KARACHI: A police official was shot dead on Wednesday outside his house in the Gulistan-e-Johar area by unidentified armed men.
The police official named Rehman Bangash suffered serious bullet wounds by shooting of unidentified attackers outside his home in Pehlwan Goth neighbourhood of Gulistan-e-Johar.
Police officials rushed to the scene of the incident by hearing the firing. He was moved by emergency workers to Jinnah Hospital but died due to his injuries. He was posted at the Saudabad police station in Karachi.

According to police, the offenders fired bullets on his house’s CCTV camera and gate. The residents of the area captured an assailant who was handed over to the police officials.
Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh Dr Kaleem Imam has taken notice of the incident and summoned a report from Superintendent Police East also also directed police to apprehend the attackers instantly.
