Five bodies found across Karachi as heatwave intensifies

The bodies of five drug addicts have been found in different areas of Karachi.

According to rescue officials, the bodies were recovered from Garden, Ranchore Line, Numaish, Qayyumabad Bridge, and Sohrab Goth.

Rescue authorities stated that all five bodies were found lying by the roadside.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department reported that the maximum temperature recorded in the city today was 38.5°C.

The department added that the intensity of the heat is expected to increase further from tomorrow, with temperatures likely to reach 40°C on Sunday and 41°C on Monday. During this period, the weather in the city will remain hot and dry.
