National Carrier PIA, which has been privatized due to billions of losses, has announced heavy allowances and benefits for the employees in the form of transfer allowance and in this regard, finance and store department employees have been directed to report Islamabad by May 4.
The transferred employees will also be allowed to perform duties in Islamabad for 2 days and Karachi for four days in a period of 6 weeks.
Transferred employees will also receive one-time basic salaries in the name of relocation assistance. Married employees will be paid 3 basic salaries and unmarried employees 2 basic salaries.
The disturbance allowance will be Rs 1 lakh in the first year, Rs 75,000 in the second year, and Rs 50,000 in the third year.
A one-time payment of Rs 60,000 will be made to each child for their admission to educational institutions. The airline will also bear the expenses of accommodation, transportation, and food for the employees for the first 6 weeks.
The airline will also provide assistance in finding accommodation and admission of children in Islamabad.
Air tickets for performing duties in Karachi and Islamabad will also be the responsibility of the airline. Accommodation facilities for employees during their stay will be available in PIA contracted hotels and guesthouses.
