A man opened fire in Karachi’s Baldia Town area, killing his former wife and their two children before fleeing the scene, police said on Sunday.
According to officials, the suspect escaped after the attack and a search operation is underway to apprehend him.
Police added that the couple had divorced three years ago.

The deceased were identified as the suspect’s ex-wife, 32-year-old Samia, and his two sons, Shahroz and Mehroz, aged between 12 and 14 years.
In a separate incident, two people were killed and four others injured in a firing in Gulshan-e-Muamar.
Rescue officials said the bodies and injured were shifted to Abbasi Hospital for medical treatment and further procedures.
