KARACHI: The Sindh chief minister’s office announced a week-long schedule this week enabling ministers, advisors and special assistants to hold public grievance sessions at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Karachi.
According to the circular issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, members of the provincial cabinet and their spokespeople will be available at the “Sindh Chief Minister’s Public Complaint Cell (919)” and at the Secretariat’s grievance desk on designated days and times to receive complaints directly from citizens and media representatives. The timetable lists specific officials and their assigned dates and sessions from April 1 through April 9, 2026, with morning and afternoon slots to facilitate public access.
The move is described by the secretariat as an effort to “ensure the redressal of the grievances of the public” by providing direct face-to-face access to senior provincial officials. Officials named in the circular include several ministers, special assistants and spokespeople who will rotate through the Secretariat’s public-complaint sessions.
City residents and media outlets were urged to use the scheduled slots to bring forward complaints and requests for assistance. No additional details about the logistics or any follow-up mechanism were provided in the circular.
