Amid rising inflation, the price of milk in Karachi has been increased by Rs20 per litre.
The Commissioner Karachi has issued a notification confirming the hike, bringing the new retail price to Rs240 per litre.
According to the notification, the price for dairy farmers has been set at Rs215 per litre, while wholesalers will receive Rs225 per litre and retailers Rs240 per litre.

The Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association (DCFA) had demanded a significant hike in the price of milk up to Rs300 per litre due to rising petrol prices and production costs.
