A mysterious statue of the “devil” that appeared outside a shop in Karachi has sparked widespread attention on social media, prompting a police investigation.
The statue, named “Baal”, was quickly taken into custody, and authorities have now revealed that it was created by a local sculptor for a symbolic protest during Youm-e-Quds.
After the video went viral, social media users called on the police to investigate the matter. Authorities responded by taking the statue into custody and launching an inquiry.
Following the investigation, police have now revealed details about the statue.
According to police officials, the statue was made from Thermopol and was created by a local sculptor.

Authorities said that once videos of the statue began circulating online, an investigation was initiated to determine the purpose of the statue and why it had been placed at the location.
During the probe, police recorded a statement from the sculptor, identified as Imran. He said that he had been commissioned to make the statue by a man named Allama Shabbir Zaidi.
Police said Allama Shabbir Zaidi explained in his statement that the statue had been prepared as part of a symbolic protest for Youm-e-Quds.
According to officials, the plan was to burn the statue during the Youm-e-Quds event on Friday as a symbolic act. However, the video of the statue went viral on social media before the event, drawing public attention to the matter.
