Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Wednesday, tracking losses in the global market. In the local bullion market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs10,000 to settle at Rs539,962.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs8,573, bringing it down to Rs462,930, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
A day earlier, on Tuesday, gold per tola had already decreased by Rs13,900, closing at Rs549,962.

In the international market, gold prices slid by $100 to $5,172 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction, rising by Rs100 to reach Rs9,004 per tola.
