Head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, has issued a message in Arabic addressed to countries in the region.
In a statement posted on X, Mr Larijani said Iran has no intention of attacking regional states.
However, he warned that if military bases located within their territories are used against Iran, and if the United States launches operations from those bases, Tehran would consider them legitimate targets.

He added that such installations would not be regarded as the sovereign territory of the host country but, in practical terms, as American soil.
