Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has confirmed that PTI founder Imran Khan will be transferred from jail to a hospital on February 25. However, he clarified that the transfer will be solely for the purpose of administering an injection.
Journalist Zahid Farooq Malik shared a video on social media on Friday in which Tariq Fazal Chaudhry indicated that Imran Khan would be shifted to a hospital on February 25. Responding to a question about Khan’s medical treatment, the minister said that the first injection was administered on January 25, while two additional doses are still pending.
He said the second injection is scheduled for February 25, and the third will be given exactly one month later. The treatment will be carried out at one of the best hospitals in Islamabad or Rawalpindi.

Chaudhry explained that the injection can only be administered at a hospital equipped with tertiary care facilities; therefore, Khan will be moved strictly for that purpose.
It should be noted that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party has raised serious alarms regarding the eye health of its founder, Imran Khan, alleging that he has lost approximately 85% of his vision in his right eye due to a lack of timely, proper medical treatment while incarcerated in Adiala Jail.
PTI claims that Imran Khan is suffering from Central Retinal Vein Occlusion (CRVO) in his right eye, a condition that requires specialized, regular care.
The party has accused the jail administration and the government of acting with “reckless attitude” by insisting on treating him inside the jail, which they claim is impossible without an operation theater and specialized facilities.
