Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor of the UAE, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi on Monday to discuss strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the two leaders explored ways to expand collaboration across multiple sectors, with particular focus on economic cooperation, investment opportunities and security ties.
They also exchanged views on regional developments and underscored the importance of continued coordination to promote peace and stability.
Field Marshal Munir expressed gratitude for the UAE’s longstanding investment and support for Pakistan’s economy and security, describing it as a reflection of deep-rooted bilateral ties.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership in a manner that advances mutual interests and contributes to regional prosperity.
