In a dramatic show of loyalty, former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has officially announced his willingness to donate one of his eyes to the founding chairman of PTI, Imran Khan, following allegations of the former prime minister’s deteriorating eyesight in Adiala Jail.
Speaking to the media, Ali Amin Gandapur stated that he is prepared to undergo surgery to give his eye to Imran Khan. He emphasized that, in his view, Imran Khan’s vision is vital for the future of the country.
Gandapur further claimed that he has been flooded with messages from constituents in his home district who are also eager to donate their eyes to the PTI leader. He noted that a comprehensive list of these volunteers has already been compiled.
The announcement has sparked a wave of debate. Medical experts and even some political figures, including PTI’s own Shahbaz Gill, have pointed out that a retina transplant is medically impossible with current technology.
Critics have labeled the move a “purely emotional statement” rather than a viable medical solution.
This statement comes amid heightening concerns from PTI leadership regarding Imran Khan’s health conditions during his incarceration.
Party members have repeatedly alleged that the former PM is being denied proper medical checkups, specifically targeting concerns about his vision.
