A deeply disturbing incident has emerged from Muhammad Khoso Goth in the Jamshoro district of interior Sindh, where a 26-year-old pregnant woman, Sabro Babar, also known as Sabro Pathan, was allegedly abducted, brutally sexually assaulted and then murdered.
Police said the victim’s body was recovered from a hilly area. She had been missing for the past ten days. Initial reports indicate that Sabro Babar was the mother of four children and earned a living by selling women’s clothes and household items door to door to support her family.
According to family members, she was abducted ten days ago and remained untraceable until her body was found. Police said investigations are under way from multiple angles and efforts are being made to arrest those involved.
The victim’s family has demanded a transparent investigation and the immediate arrest of those responsible. They have called on authorities to ensure justice and punish the culprits in accordance with the law.
Later, a case was registered on the complaint of the victim’s husband, naming five identified and eight unidentified suspects.
The named suspects include Mashooq son of Ghafoor Khoso, Dadan son of Latif Khoso, Rato son of Nawaz Ali Khoso, Jani son of Basham Khoso, and Noro Khoso, while the search for other suspects continues.
