Domestic gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a massive recovery on Monday, February 9, 2026, tracking a sharp rebound in the international market.
After a period of high volatility earlier in the month, the precious metal reclaimed significant ground.
In the last trading session, gold prices gained in the international market. In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs11,700 to settle at Rs519,462.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs10,030, reaching Rs445,354, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Friday, gold had suffered a sharp drop, with the per-tola price falling by Rs21,400 to Rs507,762.
In the global market, gold prices surged by $117 to $4,967 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved higher, rising by Rs444 to Rs8,269 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
