The United States has reaffirmed its “steadfast” support for Pakistan following a wave of deadly militant attacks in Balochistan. This diplomatic gesture comes as the Pakistan military concluded a massive counter-terrorism offensive, reporting significant casualties on both sides.
In a statement released on X (formerly Twitter), the US State Department’s Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA) expressed deep solidarity with Pakistan. Describing the recent string of attacks as “horrific,” the Bureau emphasized that the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) remains a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO).
“We support efforts to hold the perpetrators of these horrific attacks accountable,” the SCA stated, reinforcing the bilateral commitment to regional security.

On the ground, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced the successful conclusion of “Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1.” The intelligence-based clearance operation was launched in response to a coordinated series of attacks that paralyzed parts of Balochistan on January 31.
The ISPR reported that security forces recovered a massive cache of high-grade weapons, ammunition, and explosives during the days-long sweep.
The military wing underscored that the terrorists aimed to disrupt normal life but were ultimately neutralized by the precision of the clearance teams.
As the province enters a recovery phase, both the Pakistani government and its international partners have stressed that the focus must now remain on long-term stability and ensuring that designated terror groups cannot regroup.
