41 terrorists were killed in intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Balochistan’s Harnai and Panjgur districts, the military’s media wing said on Friday.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the military’s media wing said security forces killed multiple terrorists during intelligence-based operations carried out on January 29 in Balochistan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), one operation was conducted on the outskirts of Harnai district following reports of the presence of militants affiliated with Fitna al-Khwarij. Security forces raided a suspected hideout and, after a fierce exchange of fire, eliminated 30 militants.
The ISPR said a significant quantity of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered during the operation and destroyed at the site.
In a separate intelligence-based operation in Panjgur district, security forces dismantled another militant hideout and neutralised 11 terrorists linked to Fitna al-Hindustan. Authorities also recovered weapons, ammunition, and cash looted during the December 15, 2025 bank robbery in Panjgur.
The military said the militants were involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region. Clearance and sanitisation operations are ongoing to ensure no remaining militants are present in the affected areas.
