Lahore: Police have arrested the suspects nominated in the case relating to the deaths of a mother and her daughter who fell into a sewer line in the Bhati Gate area.
According to officials, all three individuals named in the case have been taken into custody.
Police stated that those arrested include Project Manager Asghar Sindhu, Safety In-charge Daniyal, and Site In-charge Ahmed Nawaz.
The case was registered under Section 322 (accidental death) on the complaint of the deceased woman’s father, Sajid Hussain.
The FIR states that the suspects acted with negligence and carelessness by leaving the manhole uncovered.
It is worth noting that the tragic incident occurred at Bhati Chowk, where a woman and her 10-month-old daughter fell into a 15-foot-deep sewer line, resulting in their deaths.
