Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Friday, mirroring the downward trend in the international market.
In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs800 to settle at Rs505,562.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs686, reaching Rs433,437, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Thursday, gold per tola had risen by Rs12,700 to settle at Rs506,362.
Globally, gold prices edged lower by $8 to $4,832 per ounce, including a $20 premium. Meanwhile, silver prices also moved down, with the per tola rate dropping by Rs30 to Rs9,903.

The local decline was triggered by a $8 drop in the global market, where gold is currently trading at $4,832 per ounce.
Silver also saw a slight dip, losing Rs 30 per tola to settle at Rs 9,903.
