The tournament, featuring the world’s top emerging cricketing nations, has already produced competitive contests, with teams jostling for early momentum in the group stage.
Pakistan had a disappointing start, going down to England by 37 runs in their opening match at the same venue on Friday. Despite the loss, captain Farhan Yousaf showed resilience with a well-compiled 65, while pacer Ahmed Hussain impressed with figures of three wickets.
Scotland, meanwhile, will be aiming to challenge one of the tournament favourites as they seek a breakthrough performance in the World Cup.
Historically, Pakistan hold a clear advantage in Under-19 World Cup meetings between the two sides, having won all three previous encounters.
Their most recent clash came during the 2020 edition in South Africa, where Pakistan secured a comfortable seven-wicket victory.
A win on Monday would boost Pakistan’s chances of progressing further in the tournament.
