Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar visited residence of legendary broadcaster Ishrat Fatima in Islamabad today and offered her a mentor job at PTV.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister paid homage to her meritorious services in the field of broadcasting for over four decades.
He said Ishrat Fatima is a name known and endeared to every Pakistani.
Terming Ishrat Fatima a living legend, the Minister said he has requested her to join Pakistan Television.
He said her presence at PTV will be a source of inspiration and learning for us all, especially youngsters as she carries with her the living legacy of our country.
Ishrat Fatima thanked the Minister for his affectionate gesture and the spirit to acknowledge, respect and encourage talent.
Tarar took to his X account to announce that he offered a mentor job to Ishrat Fatima to guide newcasters which she accepted.
