Federal Minister Ataullah Tarar on Friday alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is acting as the political wing of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), accusing the party of providing political cover to extremist elements.
Speaking to the media, Tarar claimed that PTI’s statements and actions in recent months align with the narrative of the outlawed group, adding that such links pose a serious threat to national security. He said the government has evidence to support its stance and vowed that the state would not tolerate any form of facilitation for banned organizations.
