Journalist Naeem Hanif has issued a formal apology following a legal notice from actress Saba Qamar over defamatory comments he made about her.

During a podcast, Hanif admitted that his previous statements were false, saying, “The claims I made were untrue, and I apologise to Saba Qamar.”
In November 2025, Hanif had made allegations on his YouTube channel, claiming that Qamar had once resided in a house in Lahore’s Walton area provided by an unidentified individual.
Qamar denied the allegations, posting a screenshot of the podcast on Instagram and labeling the claims as “baseless and untrue.”
She emphasized that she had never lived in Walton and described Hanif’s remarks as an attempt at character assassination.
