The Directorate of Drug Control Authority Punjab has issued an immediate order to halt the sale of eight types of medicines from various batches across the province.
The authority has also instructed the removal of these medicines from the market.
The alert issued by the authority stated that these medicines do not meet quality standards.
Some of the medicines failed potency tests, while others were found to be substandard, adulterated, or improperly labeled in violation of regulations.
