A mother along with two other men have been arrested in Azad Kashmir after allegedly killing her three young children.
According to police, the accused mother has confessed that she, along with a friend, poisoned her children to death and then threw acid on their bodies and buried them to erase their identities.
Bhimbhar police said that, acting on the identification provided by the arrested suspects, a joint operation was carried out and the bodies of the murdered children were recovered.
Police said that the deceased children include a six-year-old girl and two young boys.
Police further said that the arrested woman is a resident of Sarai Alamgir, Punjab, and had arrived in Bhimbhar with the children a few days earlier.
An abduction case had already been registered at Sarai Alamgir police station on the complaint of the children’s father.
According to initial police investigations, both suspects wanted to marry each other, and their friendship began through social media.
