In a major development for national aviation, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has officially announced the resumption of its flight operations from Islamabad to London.
A spokesperson for the national flag carrier shared the following details regarding the much-anticipated service:
Flights are scheduled to commence on March 29.
PIA will operate four weekly flights connecting the capital city to the United Kingdom.

The flights will operate from the state-of-the-art Terminal 4 at London Heathrow Airport.
This resumption marks the end of a six-year gap during which PIA’s direct flights to the UK were suspended.
The spokesperson highlighted that the airline is already successfully operating three weekly flights to Manchester, and the addition of the London route is expected to provide significant relief and convenience to the Pakistani diaspora.
The return to Heathrow Terminal 4 is seen as a strategic move to offer passengers modern facilities and better connectivity.
