The Pakistani rupee edged up against the US dollar in the interbank market on Friday, posting a marginal appreciation of 0.01%.
According to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the local currency closed at 280.17, strengthening by Rs0.03 against the greenback. In the previous session on Wednesday, the rupee had ended at 280.20.
Meanwhile, in the open market the PKR was trading at Rs 283.05 against the dollar.
