The International Cricket Council (ICC) has imposed a fine on Pakistan’s batter Babar Azam for violating the Code of Conduct during the third match against Sri Lanka.
According to the ICC, Babar Azam committed a Level 1 offence, for which he has been fined 10 percent of his match fee.
In addition, one demerit point has been added to his disciplinary record.

Babar Azam has accepted the ICC’s decision and acknowledged the breach of conduct.
It may be recalled that during the 21st over of the match at Rawalpindi Stadium, Babar Azam struck his bat against the stumps after being dismissed.
