The Pakistani rupee posted a slight improvement against the US dollar in the inter-bank market on Monday.
The currency closed at 280.71, appreciating by Re0.01 against the greenback.
Last week, the rupee had also recorded a modest gain, rising by Rs0.10 or 0.04% in inter-bank trading. According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the local unit ended the week at 280.72, compared to 280.82 the week before.
