The event, part of the PRISM Fest ’25 at the DHA Sports Club (Moin Khan Academy), was described by many fans as a “total bust” and a “disappointment.”

Attendees reported a lack of proper entry systems for different ticket categories (e.g., no separate VIP entry), leading to massive crowds and chaos at the gates.
Some social media posts mentioned poor security arrangements and, in some cases, allegations of harassment and misbehavior towards women in the crowd, similar to incidents at past concerts.
A number of fans were disappointed with the technical aspects of the show, with some even claiming Atif Aslam might have been “lip-syncing” due to the poor audio quality.
The general public area (General Enclosure) and VIP sections were reportedly unorganized, with people “packed like sardines,” making the experience uncomfortable for many.
Despite the chaos, Atif Aslam performed his set. He has been in the news recently for addressing criticism about performing so soon after his father’s passing, stating that his work is his responsibility. During the concert, he also had a moment where he humbly advised a fan to “touch their parents’ feet” rather than his, a gesture that was praised by some.
The organizers of the event, Team Prism, have faced significant backlash online, with many demanding better concert planning in the future.
Previous concerts in Karachi (e.g., August 2025 at Governor House, and January 2017) have also faced similar issues of mismanagement and harassment, prompting the singer to stop his performance and intervene on occasion.
