Six children were injured when a school van caught fire in Karachi’s Nazimabad area. Rescue officials said that the school van caught fire after overheating, as a result of which six children were injured due to burns.
According to rescue officials, the incident occurred at around 7:30 in the morning, after which the injured children were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Regarding the incident, police officials said that the police were not informed about the children being injured, and the residents of the area controlled the fire on a self-help basis.
It should be noted that earlier, near Sakhi Sarwar in Dera Ghazi Khan, a horrific collision between a van and a truck resulted in the death of four female teachers, including the principal of a private school, while seven people were injured.
