Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will undertake a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia on the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Foreign Office spokesperson has confirmed. The Prime Minister also met Nawaz Sharif at Jati Umra.
According to details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with the party leader. During the meeting with Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and others were also present.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif briefed Nawaz Sharif on government affairs. Nawaz Sharif was also taken into confidence regarding the key points of the upcoming Saudi Arabia visit.
Discussions were also held regarding the ongoing talks with Afghanistan in Turkiye and the border situation. According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the Prime Minister will visit Saudi Arabia from October 27 to 29.
The spokesperson said that the visit will take place on the invitation of Saudi Prime Minister and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will travel to Riyadh along with a high-level delegation.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and federal ministers will accompany the Prime Minister. According to the Foreign Office, the Prime Minister will attend the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative conference.
