Turkey has become a favourite destination for Pakistani tourists due to its historical beauty, modern lifestyle and natural scenery. If you want to get a Turkish tourist visa, then you need to complete a few basic steps for this process.
All Turkish visa applications from Pakistan are submitted through Anatolia Visa Application Centres, which are located in major cities, including Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.
The Turkish Embassy does not accept visa applications directly, so all applicants have to submit their applications through these centres.
Some important documents are required to submit the application, including a passport, recent photographs, a bank statement, proof of travel health insurance, a certified copy of the hotel booking and a return flight ticket. Biometric verification, i.e., fingerprints, is also taken during the application.
The visa fee is payable in cash only in Pakistani Rupees, which is determined according to the exchange rate of the State Bank of Pakistan on the previous day. As per the current rate, the fee for a single-entry visa is US$60, while the fee for a multiple-entry visa is US$190.
The Anatolia Visa Center also charges a service fee, which varies depending on the nature of the application.
The fee is lower for general applications, while it ranges from around US$65 to US$80 for VIP processing, which provides faster service and additional convenience.
Once the application is submitted, it is examined by the Turkish authorities, which usually takes a few weeks.
If all the documents are complete, Pakistani citizens can easily obtain a Turkish tourist visa and enjoy the history, culture, cuisine, and natural scenery of this beautiful country.
