A man shot and killed his wife and two daughters before taking his own life in Peshawar’s Chamkani area, it emerged on Monday.
According to details, a man named Fazal Haider first shot and killed his wife, and then his two daughters. After committing the murders, Fazal Haider ended his own life by shooting himself.
Initial reports indicate that Chamkani police received information that Fazal Haider, son of Sher Ghani, had shot and killed his wife and two young daughters, Mehra and Muntaha, in the Muslim City locality before committing suicide.
Upon receiving the report, police immediately arrived at the scene. The bodies were moved to the hospital for post-mortem examination, and crucial evidence was collected from the crime scene to begin the investigation.
Police said that the tragic incident occurred in Chamkani, but the motive behind the act is not yet known. Fazal Haider’s daughters, Muntaha and Mehra, were twins, both aged six.
A case has been registered based on the complaint of the deceased’s brother, Sher Akram, and a comprehensive investigation is underway to uncover the true circumstances of the incident.
