Gold prices in Pakistan soared to a record high on Monday, tracking a strong upward trend in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola rose by Rs5,500, reaching an all-time high of Rs428,200.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold climbed by Rs4,715 to settle at Rs367,112.

This follows Saturday’s increase, when the per tola price had already jumped by Rs2,100 to reach Rs422,700.
In the global market, gold also saw significant gains. The international price stood at $4,071 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a $55 increase on the day.
Silver prices also edged higher, with a rise of Rs147 per tola, bringing the new price to Rs5,247.
