According to details, the Punjab Home Department has imposed restrictions across the province for 10 days. As per the notification issued by the department, the purpose of these restrictions is to maintain law and order in the province.
In the notification issued by the Punjab Home Department, it has been stated that under Section 144, the display of arms and public gatherings across the province will also be prohibited.
Furthermore, the use of loudspeakers — except for Azaan (call to prayer) and sermons — will also be banned throughout the province.
It should be noted that Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan has announced a march towards Islamabad today, while yesterday, a few incidents of clashes between party workers and police were also reported from Lahore and other cities of Punjab.
