According to details, the hearing of the Toshakhana-2 case against PTI founder and Bushra Bibi was held before Rawalpindi Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand. The PTI founder’s lawyer
Qausain Faisal Mufti appeared in court, while Federal Prosecutor Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi and Barrister Umair Majeed represented the prosecution. Salman Akram Raja, Barrister Saif, Ali Zafar, and Mishal Yousafzai, along with lawyer Ahmed Musarrat, were also present. The PTI founder’s three sisters were in the courtroom as well.
Defense counsel Qausain Mufti cross-examined NAB’s investigating officer Mohsin Haroon. The cross-examination of the prosecution’s final witness was completed. The hearing was adjourned until October 8. The court provided the accused with questionnaires under Section 342 and directed them to submit responses at the next hearing.
It is worth noting that the PTI founder, Imran Khan, is also under investigation in the Toshakhana and other cases. His party has been accused of involvement in the May 9 attacks — an incident described as the most shameful chapter in the country’s history, with no parallel in the past seven decades.
