Pakistan has stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is actively engaged in ensuring the safe return of former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad. The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that the ministry is working on the matter through the Pakistani Embassy in Oman.
According to details, in a recent statement, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that efforts are ongoing with the cooperation of the Jordanian government for the safe return of former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad to Pakistan. It is hoped that this process will be completed in the coming days.
It should be remembered that earlier, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that the Government of Pakistan is striving for the early and safe return of all its citizens aboard the Global Samoud Flotilla, including former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad. Continuous contact is being maintained with international partners.
The statement that emerged after the arrests of volunteers from the international convoy “Global Samoud Flotilla,” carrying humanitarian aid for the oppressed people of Gaza, by Zionist forces, raised hopes for the former senator’s return.
In a statement released yesterday, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, responding to media questions, said that former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad is in the custody of the Israeli occupying forces but is safe and in good condition.
