The UAE government has issued new regulations for foreigners residing in the UAE to issue visit visas for their relatives and friends.
The Identity and Citizenship Authority says that if any foreigner residing in the Emirates wishes to invite his first-degree relative for a visit, his monthly salary must not be less than 4,000 dirhams.
The authority further says that in the case of a legally resident foreigner issuing a visit visa for a second or third-degree relative, the minimum monthly salary limit has been set at 8,000 dirhams.
If a foreigner residing in the Emirates applies for a visa for a distant relative or friend, then his monthly salary must be at least 15,000 dirhams.
It should be noted that previously, 4 new types of visit visas were introduced in the Emirates, including categories for artificial intelligence experts, entertainment and events, cruise ship and leisure boat-related people. The authority said that according to the regulations, the duration of stay for each type of visa and the conditions for its extension are also determined accordingly. ۔
