The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has introduced a new online system for registration, certificate issuance, and verification, designed to complete all processes within three to four days.
The initiative aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and the speed of public service delivery.
Marking a significant milestone in its digital transformation, the PMDC has launched multiple online portals to streamline operations and reduce manual delays. Officials reported that the system has already processed thousands of applications in record time, minimizing the need for in-person visits.
The newly launched portals — covering registration, postgraduate qualifications, faculty records, and MDCAT services — have drastically shortened turnaround times. Tasks that previously took several weeks are now being finalized within a few days.
According to official data, the PMDC has received 175,738 applications since May 2024, out of which 173,373 have been processed, including full and provisional licenses, renewals, postgraduate qualifications, and good standing certificates.
Officials said the council remains committed to further improving its digital infrastructure to ensure convenience, transparency, and timely facilitation for medical professionals across Pakistan.
