The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has rolled out a new appointment booking feature through its Pak ID mobile app, allowing citizens to schedule visits to NADRA Registration Centers (NRCs) nationwide.
Announced via social media on Friday, the new system is designed to streamline operations at NRCs by minimizing long queues and wait times. Citizens are advised to arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled slot to ensure smooth and timely processing.
This move is part of NADRA’s broader effort to tackle persistent overcrowding issues at its registration centers.
The Pak ID app already offers various services, including applications for new or updated CNICs and NICOPs, biometric verification, document uploads, and secure online payments—all from the comfort of home.
In addition to the appointment system, NADRA has revamped its digital payment process for identity-related services. Residents in Pakistan and overseas can now pay fees through Easypaisa, JazzCash, and e-Sahulat, making transactions faster and more accessible.
