In the Darshak area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces conducted a joint operation and killed 17 Khawarij. The intelligence-based operation was carried out on information about the presence of the Mullah Nazir group in the area.
According to details, during the operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan Army, Special Services Group, and CTD took part. In the extremely difficult terrain of Darshak, law enforcement agencies targeted the hideout of the Khawarij.
Sources said that this operation by the security forces continued for two days. Information had been received about the gathering of Khawarij in Darshak. Upon return from the successful operation, the locals gave a grand welcome to the security personnel and also celebrated.
This operation was carried out by security forces and police in the Darsha Khel area of Shah Saleem police station, Karak. This Darsha Khel area is located on the border of Lakki Marwat and Karak. A group of 22 Khawarij was surrounded under planning. In the operation, 7 to 10 Khawarij were injured while 17 were killed.
