Famous Pakistani drama and film actor Asad Malik recently appeared in a morning show, where he openly talked about his personal life, views on marriage, and his deep bond with his father.
Asad Malik stated that he was only 20 years old when his mother passed away. That time was very difficult for him, however, his father played the role of both mother and father. Taking breaks from the office to come home, cooking himself, and feeding his son became his father’s habit, which developed immense respect and love in Asad’s heart for him.

The actor also revealed that his mother was of a strict nature. That is why he was more inclined toward his father. After his wife’s death, his father lived alone for many years.
Seeing his loneliness, Asad arranged his father’s second marriage so that he could live life happily again. However, Asad will always regret that at the time of his father’s death, he was not with him. He says, “I wish I could have hugged my father one last time, I will always remember that moment.”
In response to a question about marriage, he claimed that he has never fallen in love till today, therefore he does not know much about love. When he falls in love with someone, he will then be able to talk about it.
Asad Malik took a clear stance that he has no interest in marriage. In his opinion, life can be lived even without marriage. He stated that marriage is not just about companionship, but it is a big responsibility which requires sacrifice and time.
