Indian actress Priya Marathe passed away at the age of 38 due to cancer, as reported by Indian media on Sunday.
According to Indian media, the Indian television industry was shocked when the news of actress Priya’s death surfaced. Reports state that the 38-year-old actress had been battling cancer for a long time, however, on Sunday she breathed her last at her home in Mumbai.

Priya Marathe had worked in many Hindi and Marathi dramas and was famous for her remarkable acting. According to Indian media, Priya married actor Shantanu in 2012.
The actress had not been active on Instagram after 2024. Her last post was on August 11, 2024, in which she shared pictures with her husband. Personalities from the showbiz industry are expressing deep grief and sorrow over the actress’s death.
She did not want to get media attention after chemotherapy during treatment of cancer due to hair loss, as reported by Indian media.
